Bring a Friend Mitzvah Day

TOSG is hosting bring a friend mitzvah day. Each student is encouraged to bring one friend to contribute to our community service event: Making sandwiches to donate to the Julian Street Inn Homeless Shelter.

Clothes/Blankets/Shoe Drive

Tikkun Olam Seventh Grade is now holding a drive for shoes, clothes, and blankets.
You can contribute by donating these items in the bins in the Shir Hadash office. At the end of the year all of these items will be donated to a homeless shelter.

Bake Sale

Tikkun Olam Seventh Grade will be selling baked goods, the proceeds will be going towards a charity.

Completed Projects

Card Making

Tikkun Olam Seventh Grade made about 30 get well cards for the rehab ward at Good Samaritan Hostpital. They consisted of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, fruit cup, and water.

Bag Lunch Making

Tikkun Olam Seventh Grade made 100 bag lunches for homeless people at the Julian Street Inn. They consisted of a peanut butter
and jelly sandwich, fruit cup, granola bar, and water.
